The Chief of Staff of the Army (COAS), General Qamar, said on Friday that Pakistan values its relations with the countries of the European Union (EU) and sincerely wishes to strengthen the mutually beneficial multi-domain relations. based on common interests, the military said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief made the remarks during a meeting with the Czech ambassador to Pakistan, Tomas Smetanka, at the headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, ISPR said, issues of mutual interest, regional security, the current situation in Afghanistan and collaborative measures to provide much-needed humanitarian assistance to Afghans were discussed.

On November 19, Bahraini Council of Representatives Chairperson Fawzia Bint Abdullah Zainal visited the army chief and discussed the Afghan security situation as well as matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, COAS reiterated the need for global convergence on Afghanistan to avoid humanitarian crises and coordinated efforts for the economic recovery of the Afghan people.
